Spirulina

One of the most important fruits of the sea, the algae spirulina is consumed worldwide for its wonderful protein and nutrient content. It contains every essential amino acid and more plant protein than beans and pulses. It also contains gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), several B vitamins (1, 2, 3, 6 and 9) and vitamins C, A and E. And finally, it’s also a source of potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc and other essential minerals. It’s good stuff and 100 per cent natural. Although it’s often available in tablet form, we it together with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables in powder format.
