Caricol® is a tasty, convenient all-natural fruit puree for anyone wishing to support more regular bowel movements. Caricol® is delicious and easy to consume and is suitable for practically everyone, from infants (6m+), pregnant and breastfeeding women, right through to the elderly.

Caricol® is made from the pulp of tree-ripened papaya which is certified organic and sourced from Sri Lanka, and prepared to the original recipe used by the Lotus Buddhist Monastery on Big Island in Hawaii.

Papaya fruit has a long history of traditional use in both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Ayurvedic Medicine for helping to speed up digestive transit time. It is naturally high in papain, a potent proteolytic enzyme which helps to break down proteins, and studies have shown it to have soothing effects on the stomach and digestive tract.

The name Caricol® is derived from CARica papaya L. which is the botanical name for papaya; and COL, representing the colon, where traditional use suggests it has its most powerful effect.

Papaya fruit are harvested when they are ripe, then they are and-peeled and pitted, and this preserves the valuable ingredients within the Caricol®. The papaya pulp is "mashed" on site, then boiled for a few hours and then oxygenated. The entire process of the patented manufacturing process is computer-controlled and logged according to exact specifications, which all determine its final effectiveness. To round off the flavour, organic fruit juice concentrate from apple is used, which is responsible for the fruity sweetness of Caricol®.
