Pasteurised Akkermansia muciniphila is a form of the beneficial gut bacteria that has been heat-treated to ensure safety while retaining its properties that benefit the gut lining. Pre-clinical studies¹ have shown that pasteurised Akkermansia muciniphila works better than live Akkermansia, with greater stability and a longer shelf-life, ensuring consistent and reliable benefits for gut barrier function.
